Re-Think, Re-Board
As part of a creative workshop, each one of us had to come up with an innovative idea for the use of cardboard.
Ordinarily as part of an innovative approach to cardboard, designers try to turn it into a furniture piece.
For this workshop, i wanted to approach this material from a fresh perspective.
instead of looking for something that could complement the cardboard, i decided to go the other way. Thus, i chose fashion (in a sense).
What better challenge than to try making something so naturally rigid take the place of textile, a material so soft that it takes the shape of the body.
My inspiration derives from Thierry Mygler, Madonna, and Lady Gaga.
You can also see that i was especially inspired by the medieval time armor suit.
